Santa could use to get in a few nutrient-packed items, right? These cookies were made for that purpose, without sacrificing any of the flavor, but keeping all the festive color! These are our favorite holiday sweet snack. It makes so many, I refrigerate half of the batter!

In a medium bowl, whisk together first eight ingredients. Set aside.

In a large bowl, beat together honey, brown sugar, applesauce and butter spread. Beat in extract and eggs.

Add dry ingredients, mixing until thoroughly combined. Fold in cranberries, white chips, and chopped walnuts.

Drop by tablespoonfuls onto a baking sheet (you might need to press them down a bit - batter may be stiff); and bake at 375 degrees F for 9 -10 minutes, or just until the edges are browned. Let cool and store in an airtight container!
